At Rain Horse Training we offer lessons from novice to advanced rider geared to precisely your level of skill and motivation, and we have horses to accommodate each level of rider available. Though we do offer lesson horses, we specialize in lessons with you and your horse, as that is the partnership we are trying to build and enhance. For those of you just starting out, or who aren’t ready to own your own equine quite yet, we have a variety of wonderful and unique horses to choose from to get your started.
Our lesson program focuses on providing you with the full range the experience of riding and owning a horse. We will begin with learning how to groom and tack your horse in a safe and correct manner and learn how to properly handle your equine partner on the ground, before we ever begin any riding. We start our riding experience with learning the basics of stop, go and turning and advance on from those important skills. As the rider’s skill level increases we will be able to move on to more advanced maneuvers or specialties such as jumping, gaming, drill, dressage, etc. We look forward to helping you improve your skills either with our wonderful horses or your own.
